By using FireScores ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms & Disclaimers. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Not professional advice

FireScores produces AI-graded estimates of wildfire home-hardening readiness based on photos and notes you submit. Output is for informational purposes only and is not a professional inspection, engineering opinion, defensible-space certification, code-compliance review, or insurance underwriting decision. Always consult a qualified inspector, your local fire authority, and your insurance carrier before acting.

3. No guarantee of insurability

A FireScores report does not guarantee insurance coverage, non-renewal reversal, premium reduction, or any specific outcome with any insurer or program. Insurers make independent decisions based on their own criteria.

4. AI accuracy & limitations

AI analysis of photos and notes can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading. Lighting, angles, occlusion, and image quality all affect results. You are responsible for verifying any finding before relying on it.

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and only photograph property you have permission to inspect.
• Comply with all applicable laws, including wildfire defensible-space and building codes in your jurisdiction.
• Do not rely on the Service for emergency decisions. In an emergency, call 911.

6. Affiliate links

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FireScores and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of property, profits, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service. Total aggregate liability shall not exceed USD $100.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Privacy

Photos, notes, and address information you submit are processed to generate your report and may be stored in your account. Do not upload content you do not wish to be processed by AI providers.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
